The Multimatic® 255 comes equipped with an easy to read interface with a 7-inch color LCD display. Welding set-up is designed to be efficient with simple programmability and predefined weld settings to avoid having to set up programs you don't need.
EZ-Latch running gears are available in single cylinder and dual cylinder models. Bottle forward technology makes for easy transportation of the gas cylinder by carrying them just above the ground for easy tilt-on access. Simply unlatch the machine for easy portability without the running gear.

Couldn't believe the quality welds right out of the box! I consider myself fairly experienced in welding, not professional, with this multimatic 255 it makes my welds looks even better! Highly recommended but be sure to purchase more tips for it because no local stores of mine have them in stock

Q - Does this have a dual gas port?
A - Yes.
Q - What consumables kits does Miller have for this?
A - The Miller Acculock S .035 kit (#1880278) and the Acculock S .045 Kit (#1880279) will both work with the Miller MDX 250 MIG gun.
Q - Can you TIG weld aluminum with the Miller Multimatic 255?
A - Yes. However, the Multimatic 255 is ideal for aluminum MIG welding.
Q - What max thickness is it rated for?
A - The Millermatic 255 is able to weld metals up to ½” thick with an output of 230 Amps and 25.5 V at 60% duty cycle.
Q - Can I run a Miller Multimatic 255 with my 50 Amp breaker?
A - Yes.
How to connect shield gas supply:
Secure gas cylinder.
Obtain gas cylinder and chain to running gear, wall, or other stationary support.
Clear dust and dirt from valve.
Remove cap, stand to side of valve, and open valve slightly. Gas flow will blow dust and dirt from valve. Close valve.
Install so face is vertical.
Typical flow rate for shielding gas is 10 to 30 CFH. Check wire manufacturers recommended flow rate.
Install adapter.
Install adapter with O-ring between regulator/flowmeter and CO2 cylinder.
