Although it weighs in at just 38 pounds and is surprisingly compact, the Multimatic 215 brings serious welding power to the job. If you are looking for a small welder that's simple to use, and produces flawless results this is it. My son had never touched a welder in his life until last weekend. Even he can MIG with the 215. Miller did a great job designing this welder...period

A - The Miller Multimatic 215 MIG/Stick can TIG weld stainless steel but not aluminum.
Q - Can the Miller Multimatic 215 MIG/Stick run 3-phase?
A - The Miller Multimatic 215 MIG/Stick is single phase only.
Q - What size generator is needed to run the Miller Multimatic 215 MIG/Stick?
A - The Miller Multimatic 215 MIG/Stick runs at up to 200 amps. To run it at capacity, a 7000 Watt generator is needed.
Q - What size gun is needed for the Miller Multimatic 215 MIG/Stick?
A - For this model, only the Miller Spoolmate 100 or Spoolmate 150 can be used.
Q - Can you TIG weld aluminum with the Miller Multimatic 215?
A - The Miller Multimatic 215 will not TIG weld aluminum. Aluminum will need to be done with MIG welding – which will require a spool gun.
Q - Can you use a spool gun with this TIG welder?
A - No. The Miller Multimatic 215 is compatible with the Spoolmate 100 and Spoolmate 150 for MIG welding.
